As a certified Circling coach, Kageni is driven by attuned curiosity, compassion, and awareness of the complexity of humanity and humans. She packs bright intelligence with a dash of fierceness in her lively, powerful yet caring presence, and has a deep desire to see her clients connect with that which lights them up—opening up space in themselves to blossom and live more fully.
Kageni was born and raised in a rural village in Kenya. Her childhood life consisted of living 'on the land'. At the same time, she was able to attend prestigious British-style schools that opened her up to "life outside the village". She moved to the United States in 2000 with her infant daughter and her American then-husband to study for her Masters in Business Administration.
Realizing that her interest was more in understanding what makes humans who and how they are, or as she puts it playfully; "how humans human", she ventured into self studies and training with teachers in personal development, human psychology, and adult development.
Her multicultural background places her in a unique position to see people from multiple perspectives. One of her superpowers is that she can penetrate the cultural norms, covers, and avoidance, and get directly to the heart of what is really happening for people. She brings herself gently yet truthfully into the connection.
Kageni loves working with clients who are ready to embark on a journey of shining light on their life; to discover blindspots, uncover hidden limiting beliefs (we all have them!), and to see the many ways in which we self-sabotage, leading to frustration. Her goal is to guide clients to open up for themselves new ways of being and doing, that are and were always available to them. When these are integrated there can be changes that might only have been dreamed of.
